The CPC is conducting a consultation with the participants in the rail for freight transport market in the country, according to proposal of DP NKZI for undertaking of commitments to ensure conditions for effective competition on the affected market

According to Art. 75, para. 3 of law on protection of competition, the CPC publishes a notice on its electronic register containing a summary of the subject of the proceedings under Case No KZK-109/2021 as well as to the commitment proposal submitted by DP NKZI.

Within its legal powers, with a view to increase the effectiveness of the actions carried out in the antitrust proceedings, the CPC shall give the participants in the rail freight market and/or their associations, as well as any other interested parties (including competitors of the participants in the proceedings and participants in other affected markets, associations, industry organisations, etc.) the opportunity to submit information and opinions on the proposed commitments within 20 days.

Pursuant to Art. 18 of the Rules on considering proposals for undertaking of commitments under the Law on Protection of Competition (the Rules), the CPC, after considering the submissions under Art. 13 of the Rules and the results of the consultation, will make a final assessment of the proposed commitments.
