The CPC has approved new Notification Form and Instructions for its completion

By Decision No 1384/19.12.2019 the Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC, Commission) on the grounds of Art. 8, item 14 in relation to Art. 79, para. 4 of LPC has adopted new Notification Form and Instructions for its completion.

The purpose of the new Form is to provide greater clarity when completing the notification and to focus on providing information for those markets that are expected to be significantly affected by the concentration. The CPC’s practice so far shows that a large number of notifications submitted by the notifying parties do not contain all necessary information under Art. 79, para. 1 of the LPC, such as: information about the exercised control; correct calculation of the turnover of the undertakings concerned; information on the affected markets by the concentration, etc.

The new Notification Form and Instructions for its completion enters into force on 01.01.2020.
